For transmitting positive energy through sports during the pandemic COVID-19, Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee held an activity called #WhiteCard on this significant day. We invited 22 domestic elite athletes to post a photo with “whitepaper in hand” on social media which as a symbol of peace.

In 2013, the United Nations General Assembly officially declared “April Sixth” as the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP). As the president of International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach said, “Sport and physical activity are essential to staying active and healthy, especially in this time of uncertainty and social distancing.”

Furthermore, Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee hosted another event on March 29 which called International Sports Affairs Training Course to celebrate International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.

The activity includes a seminar and sport climbing course which provide alumni form ISATC to reunion and share experiences in variety of sport administrations and the process of working as a team manager of Chinese Taipei.

Peace and #StayStrong.
