CAS裁定 恐令IBA重新選舉

運動仲裁法院（CAS）裁定Boris van der Vorst應有資格參加於上個月舉行的國際拳擊總會（IBA）主席的選舉。

CAS 裁定，Van der Vorst及其他三名被取消 IBA 選舉資格的上訴候選人僅犯一項輕微違反規則的行為，亦即過早從事競選活動，惟此舉仍不足以被拳擊選舉獨立誠信單位（BIIU）視為失格。CAS指出現任IBA主席 Umar Kremlev 亦違反上述相同的規定，但並未被取消競選資格。

Van der Vorst及其他三名上訴候選人針對此判決均表示：「期待與IBA合作以盡速恢復選舉進程。」

此次CAS的裁決預期將迫使IBA籌辦新的選舉。IBA承認將就CAS裁決的影響徵詢法律意見，並將考慮在 6 月 24 日採取適當行動，屆時新當選的執委會將於洛桑會面。
