Using arts and drawings as a tool to make youth engage in sports and the Asian Games and to promote the Culture which helps them to grow their understanding about the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games. The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee (CTOC) responds to the appeal of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (HAGOC) to hold Asian Games Drawing/Painting Contest.

The CTOC invited the youth aged 13 and below to participate in the contest combining Arts, drawings and sports. After 3 runs of selection, the judging panel selected 10 superior drawings, 10 first-rate drawings and 10 excellent drawings (5 boys and 5 girls respectively for each award) from the total 143 participants. The list of winners has already been released on CTOC official website on August 8th, and those awarded participants will receive bonus and certificate respectively. According to the regulation of OCA, the CTOC will deliver the top 10 superior drawings to OCA, and HAGOC and OCA will choose the best four drawings – two girls and two boys from each NOC. These awarded panting works will be displayed at the Hangzhou Main Press Centre and the OCA Headquarters Hotel.

The Asian Games Drawing Contest offers an excellent opportunity for our primary school students to express their imagination and understanding of the Hangzhou Asian Games and to show their support for their favorite athletes or to draw their favorite sport. It is not only a great opportunity to inspire the youth but also a good way to arouse their passion for the Asian Games.
