Taipei, October 7th, 2019: The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee (CTOC) staged a flag presentation ceremony for the Chinese Taipei Delegation to the ANOC World Beach Games on 7th October 2019. Mr. Teng-Chiao LIN, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education, presented the Chinese Taipei NOC flag to Mr. Hong-Dow LIN, president of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee and head of the Delegation. In addition, a 60-minute orientation including doping control guidelines was given to attendees after the ceremony.
The ANOC World Beach Games will be held in Doha, Qatar from 12th through 16th October 2019. Chinese Taipei NOC is sending a total of 5 athletes to participate in 3 sports, including Aquathlon, Bouldering and Karate.
At the ceremony, CTOC president Hong-Dow LIN encouraged athletes to make the best of the Games and pursue excellence relentlessly with determination and resolve. The Games will also serve as the best opportunity for Chinese Taipei athletes to gain international experience to strive toward future success.

On behalf of the Chinese Taipei delegation, Ms. Chi-Wen CHANG, Aquathlon athlete, received the nutrition subsidy from Mr. Teng-Chiao LIN, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education.
