The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee was selected to receive the Outstanding Contribution Awards granted to NGOs based in Taiwan in recognition of significant contributions to the world under the following 6 categories: Public Policy, Medicine and Health Care, Humanitarian Aid, Social Welfare, Environmental Sustainability, Sports and Culture.

The Award was presented at the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Department of NGO International Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on which occasion Mr. Hong-Dow Lin, President of CTOC, conveyed this NOC’s congratulations to the Department for the remarkable moment and appreciated continuous cooperations from the Ministry through a recorded video message.

The Award represents recognition of this NOC’s efforts in promoting and implementing the Olympic education and values, gender equality in sport, charity campaigns, and international sports exchanges over the past decades.

Chinese Taipei University Sports Federation, Chinese Taipei Cycling Association, Chinese Taipei Esports Association, and Chinese Taipei Association of Ultrarunners are also on the winners list of the Award. They are all outstanding Sports NGOs which this NOC is proud to collaborate with in the Olympic Movement.
